The number of projects you need will be determined by how you like to manage your projects using Swyvel’s version of projects, milestones and tasks. For example, a large or complicated project could be split up into many related milestones and tasks to keep everyone organized. Work should be classified as a new project if tasks appear to be completely unrelated, few team members overlap between activities, or you’re working with different clients or vendors and require increased confidentiality or security.
Here are some examples of how our customers are using Swyvel:
Freelancers, Solo Entrepreneurs, and Consultants: If you’re a single person juggling many projects, then consider starting with the Starter plan. It’s ideal for independent organizers and consultants to keep track of every aspect of multiple projects. All plans allow for separation of documents between clients and contractors. It also provides room to grow up to 15 active projects and is perfectly suited for up to 10 users, such as suppliers, buyers, consultants, boards, associations, and teachers.
Small Businesses, Teams and Start-ups: If you’re part of a team where everyone has their own job responsibilities and activities, Swyvel is perfect for managing tasks and milestones, sharing files, and keeping communication all in one place. Tasks are assigned and everyone stays in the loop in real time. Scalable up to 30 projects, our Gold plan, which is our most popular plan designed for 30 users including external vendors, advisory boards, special teams, and all the other stakeholders pushing the projects forward.
Agencies & Large Organizations: If you run an agency managing multiple clients and client teams, or head up the project and product management teams of a business, you’ll need additional users and projects. Swyvel can be used to optimize recurring programs and processes to make your teams more efficient. Having everyone on board for ideation, planning, execution, issue tracking and reporting helps teams to collaborate with less down time. Swyvel is designed to be the perfect conduit for all interdepartmental teams to stay connected. Executives can monitor progress and measure success. Our largest Platinum plan can accommodate up to 100 projects and 75 users such as outsourced agencies and contractors, internal teams and external vendors.

What is a SWYVEL User?
A SWYVEL User is linked to a unique email address. Entering an email and password logs you into different projects across all projects that have been shared with a particular user. Users are granted unique privileges based on the project.
There are 4 types of Users in SWYVEL and we refer to them as Roles. The Administrator role has access to all aspects of the SWYVEL account. The next level is the Project Manager, who generally grants access to other users of the project. After that is the next level called User and is often reserved for vendors, sub- contractors, and clients who usually have restricted access to specific modules and tasks. Lastly, there is a Contact, which is normally used to store contact details.
Absolutely. SWYVEL knows that some projects incorporate sensitive data that you may not want everyone to know about, such as pricing and quotations for example. Additionally, some projects involve frequent and complicated discussions that may not be of interest to everyone on the project. The Administrator and Project Manager can control who is granted access to what information.
Yes. The same person may have various responsibilities in different projects. Perhaps they are managing one project but only have certain tasks in another. The My SWYVEL overview only reveals those projects and tasks pertinent to that User.
Of course. A person may manage a project in one account, and be a vendor in another account, and perhaps a client in a third. In today’s busy world, SWYVEL knows that we all wear many hats.
Sometimes a project Manager doesn’t grant access to a User for every SWYVEL module. In this case, the module will not display all information and you will not be able to view or edit that particular project area.
Contact the Project Manager if you would like access to another module. Their contact details will be displayed under the ‘People’ module on the ‘Dashboard’.
